About us
Hi! We are Debra Goward and Kaye Stefanovic.
Between us we have over 60 years experience supporting people with a disability in the community. We have worked in various senior roles such as Clinical Nurse Specialist, Behaviour Support Practitioner and Senior Disability Case Manager.
During our careers we have assisted people with a disability, their carers and families with many lifespan issues. One issue that proved a challenging dilemma was balancing the ongoing risks of aspiration pneumonia with the loss of pleasure associated with taste and also care provided through feeding. We saw that transitioning to tube feeding was a major decision often fraught with emotion. This drove us to think about possible solutions.
Our answer to this was to develop taste safe, a product that delivers taste on an Oral Dissolvable Film with minimal risk. After many years of trials and enquiry we have found a reliable production process for taste safe, a product that we hope will satisfy a need.
