We’re developing a product for people who can’t eat but still deserve to experience taste... safely.
Between us, we bring a lifetime of experience working with the disability community. As Registered Nurses, we’ve worked in institutions, group homes, and alongside families and carers in the community. We’ve seen challenges across every aspect of life, but one challenge stands out above the rest: supporting people who are unable to eat.
Food isn’t just fuel. It’s joy and comfort. It’s hot chips on a rainy day, a sausage roll with tomato sauce, or a slice of pizza that’s definitely too hot but absolutely worth it.
Now imagine never experiencing any of that.
In Australia alone, around 1 million people live with swallowing difficulties. For many of these people, eating isn’t just difficult, it’s impossible. Thousands rely on tube feeding every day, receiving the nutrition they need, but never getting to taste their favourite flavours.
For carers and parents, there’s often a quiet sense of guilt, knowing they’re providing excellent care, but never being able to offer something as simple and meaningful as taste.
That’s where Taste Safe comes in.
Taste Safe delivers flavour through an oral dissolvable film (ODF), allowing people to experience taste without any risk. After years of research and development, we’ve created something that’s not only safe, but genuinely delicious.
Because everyone deserves more than just nutrition.
They deserve the joy of taste.
